Support Worker – St Albans

SALARY: £9.41 per hour

We are recruiting for a part time Support Worker to work with a man who has a mild learning disability, Autism and mental health needs living in his own home in St Albans. You will be working as part of an established team covering varied shifts including late, early, middle shifts and weekends, however this particular role does not require sleep-ins.

He is looking for someone to join his team who shares similar interests such as football, cooking, visiting charity shops and drawing as well as having a positive attitude and an encouraging nature.

A key part of the support workers role is to understand the person you are supporting, which will include providing practical and emotional support.

We are recruiting for a full/part time Support Worker for a lady with a learning disability and cerebral palsy who lives in her own home in Watford. The person you will be supporting enjoys going bowling, attending the gym where she uses the toning tables and swimming pool, as well as days out such as visits to the zoo. She also enjoys home activities; baking, watching films and is a keen knitter. Personal care will be required around toileting and bathing.
